Equipment Sound & Lighting

We strive to provide the finest quality sound and lighting equipment available to the mobile disc jockey. After years of financial commitment toward building our shows, we feel The Wave offers a superior product to our customers. We offer three different levels of shows from our basic disc jockey package to the deluxe show which features thousands of dollars of sound and lighting equipment and can accommodate audiences of thousands. Our pricing for shows starts at around $400.00 for a basic show. Price quotes are available by request and vary depending on the level of show, season of the year, mileage, type of venue, and length of performance. Price specials are offered quarterly on selected shows. A VCR or multimedia CD-ROM copy of our video is available by request. Printed brochures can also be sent through email, fax or regular mail.

The Basic Show

This show is ideal for smaller ballroom events, Wedding receptions, and sock hops.
  • 2- JBL concert series speakers powered by a Crown 2400 power amp.
  • Portable DJ Booth with dual CD players, cordless microphone, approximately 5000 song selections. AND: following lighting effects:
    • 1- Nova Light (mirror ball effect) *
    • 2- Intelligent spotlights (Trackspots)
Lighting provided for all shows is suspended overhead with box truss and heavy duty crank up towers.

The Intermediate Show

This is a ballroom sized system appropriate for almost any type of occasion.
  • 2 JBL concert series speakers- 2 Cerwin Vega Earthquake Speakers- 2 Crown 2400-watt power amps.
  • Portable DJ booth with dual CD players, microphone and over 5000 song selections.
  • 1-Nova Light (mirror ball effect) - 2 or 4 Intelligent Spotlights, 2- AF1000 Strobe Lights, 4- Intelligent
  • Color changers, 1 High end fog machine.
The Deluxe Show

This is an awesome show designed for large events like school proms, company parties, public gatherings, raves. It features over $100,000 of equipment.
  • 2 or 4 JBL concert speakers, 2 or 4 Cerwin Vega subwoofers, 3 Crown power amps, Deluxe DJ booth with built-in Neon.
  • 8 Intelligent Spotlights (trackspots or technobeams), 4 AF1000 Strobe lights, 4 Multi-colored Viper Lasers,
  • 8 Intelligent color changers, 4- Stella Fan lights, UFO center piece light, 1-2 Nova Lights. 1-2 Fog Machines.
